Baum Farm is a certified organic farm selling quality hay to the horse enthusiast and organic dairies.  The farm is located in the Connecticut River Valley with Mt. Monadnock in the background, known for its fertile soils.  The soils are maintained by the addition of minerals such as lime, wood ash and natural fertilizer, cow manure and compost.  The hay land is planted in timothy/red clover and timothy /alfalfa.  Our hay is harvested at the peak of nutrition.  The hay is dried and stored indoors.  We do not sell any mulch hay. The mulch hay is all recycled into compost.  We only sell the best hay.  Some of our  hay is tested for quality so you will know what you are paying for.  Our hay is made into small square bales (14"x18"x36"), which is the best package for quality hay.  You can pick up hay at the farm or we can ship.  See our site for hay prices and shipping costs.  We can also send you a sample of our hay so you know what you are getting.
